Masala Chai, also known as the Immunity Booster Tea, helps to balance vata-pitta-kapha in the body. Great for the winter season, it is a natural remedy for cough, cold and mild fever. The ingredients in Masala Chai are immunity enhancers and work effectively as appetizer,  and are digestive and carminative. Masala Chai is good for anorexia and useful in cough, dyspnea & coryza.

Key Ingredients:

Banaphsa (Viola odorata):
Good expectorant and used for cough and hoarseness of voice
Useful in headaches, nervousness and general debility.
Leaves are used for treating swelling, inflammation, jaundice, headache, body pains.
It possess significant antibacterial, anthelmintic activity, anti-fungal activity.

Lavang(Syzygium aromaticum):
Helpful in headache &  nasal decongestion
Strong expectorant
Analgesic & anti inflammatory in toothache
Eugenol (main bioactive constituent in clove oil) is reported to be responsible for antioxidant, antifungal, antiviral, antibacterial, anti inflammatory, analgesic, activities.

Dalchini (Cinnamomum zeylanicum):
Good for coughs and colds and other respiratory conditions.
Useful in Diabetes Mellitus and Obesity
Useful in problems of the oral cavity
Useful in abdominal pain with diarrhoea

Ginger (Zingiber officinale):
Useful in cough & colds

How to brew a cup of tea?
Boil 100 ml water in a pan at 90-100° C
Add 2 g (approx. a teaspoonful) Butterfly Masala tea.
Boil for about 2-3 minutes until the herbs are infused well.
Add milk and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Add sugar if desired.
Strain & serve hot

Dosage: One cup of tea twice a day.
Storage condition: Store in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight. Do not refrigerate.
